Secretary and Treasurer of the Royal Society of Miniature Painters Born Meerut, Punjab, 31 May 1868 Son of Richard James Quinnell M.D., C.M., Surgeon-Colonel, Indian Army Medical Service Married 1895, Annie, daughter of William Tayler, Solicitor Educated: Bishop Cotton School, Simla. Came to England to study for the Army 1886; received commission as Lieutenant in 3rd Batt. East Lancashire Regiment, 1888. Resigned commission and started career in art, 1890; Exhibitor, Royal Academy, Royal Society of British Artists, Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours, etc. Publications: work published Graphic, Sketch, Lady’s Pictorial, Black and White, Pick Me Up, London Opinion, and other publications.
